  Immediate Opening: Operation Manager

 

We seek a hands-on, entrepreneurial and results-oriented CONTROLLER/OPERATIONS MANAGER to join our management team. This person will drive all aspects of finance and accounting ranging from the design and implementation of financial strategy to handling the day-to-day accounting and operations of the company. The Controller will ensure that as we continue to build a successful company, we have proactive management and an outstanding financial and operations infrastructure as our foundation. This person must enjoy a team atmosphere, possess a "make it happen" attitude and be driven by taking the company to the next level.

 

Key accountabilities include:

 

Finance/Accounting

 Design, implementation and management of financial strategies, processes and systemsFinancial statements, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and monthly management reporting (performance, client profitability, etc.)AP/ARManagement of Accounting/Operations team

 

Operations/Sales Support

 Project Accounting and margin analysis Vendor/Supplier Management and NegotiationProduct Purchasing, Shipping and ReceivingOffice ManagementInternal systems ( phone, accounting systems, time tracking database, data backups)

 

Human Resources

 PayrollBenefits Analysis and NegotiationBenefits Administration (Healthcare, 401k, etc)Assist with Recruiting Process

 

The successful candidate will have:

 8+ yrs experience with increasing levels of responsibility/advancement in Accounting and OperationsBachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experienceStrong proficiency in using technology (acctg systems, spreadsheets, databases, etc.) to improve and increase operational and business efficienciesSuccessful experience in managing with a “hands-on” approach; proven experience in successfully managing and growing a teamExcellent analytical ability, strong ability to multi-task and deal with interruptions and changing priorities, pinpoint accuracy and attention to detail and proven organizational skills are a must.
