Test, install, and maintain software, apply patches on UNIX platforms. Maintain and monitor database servers. Provide server administration and Oracle Database Backup and Recovery. Provide Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) Administration. Assist Application DBAs/developers and end-users with the resolution of problems related to Oracle databases and/or Oracle software.Required SkillsBS and 10 years of professional experience. Extensive experience with Oracle and Sybase database administration, supporting multiple large databases within a UNIX environment with increasing complexity.
