Plans, designs, develops, and implements complex computerized databases, to include data definition, structure, documentation of
databases, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. Establishes database standards and guidelines, assu
Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions :
*Provide technical support for database environments, including testing and installation of DBMS upgrades, and project management support
from the database administration perspective
* Participate in tool evaluation, integration and support. Monitor the performance of production systems and utilize appropriate tools to
identify tuning requirements.
* Provide on-call 24 X 7 support for mission critical databases and environments.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years eBusiness Experience
3+ years as an Oracle Applications DBA, 11.5.10 -- installing, upgrading, patching, maintaining
3+ years Oracle DBA experience on both 9i and 10g - tuning, patching, upgrading, etc.
3+ years experience maintaining Oracle on UNIX, preferably Sun Solaris
3+ experience with bourne, korn shell scripting, cron jobs, etc.
Experience with SQL tuning is a definite plus.
