Oracle Support - TEAM LEAD

Summary:

A prospective candidate should have the ability to assume the role of Database Administrator and be responsible for Oracle Support and performing DBA actions and data analysis functions.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:Function as the Oracle/database support team lead.Perform database administration and configurationMonitor space usage, automated processes, and oracle services.Resolve application and network connectivity issues.Perform backup and recovery operationsUpgrade software versions, IAVAs, and emergency patches and hot fixes. Perform account managementAssign tasks to other DBAs and system administratorsResearch new features, present, install and configure upon approval.Create and manage oracle accounts.Execute LCS batch scriptsProvide management of the CDMS database.Perform UNIX administration tasks.Goal oriented and action focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined, good at project planning, organization, and communication.Escalate Service Request, Trouble TicketsSetup and Maintain Test Environment for developersCreate Users for Autodoc, WAMO and FOIASupport Application Developers’ for all Flotilla Applications from an Operations PerspectiveTrouble Shooting, Performance Tuning, Architectural Changes, and Monitor Databases and WebserversPerform Database Administration for LCS, WAMO, PRISMS, AUTODOC, FOIA, LCS production and test environment

Required for This Position:Bachelors Degree in IT or related fieldStrong understanding of Information Technology and related disciplines.5-10 years of database administration/oracle experience.3-5 years of team lead/managing teamSecret or higher level clearance.Security+ Certification (or higher)

 

Preferred:DoD and DoN ExperienceAdvanced degreeSecurity+ Certification

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
