Outside Sales-Account Exec Voice Telephony Specialist - Avaya (Chicagoland) VoIP, Telephone Systems

Results driven sales position. Responsible for developing regional client base through prospecting, networking, calling, etc. Focus will be on selling Avaya/Lucent business telephone systems and services through sales calls and presentations. We are an Avaya Expert Business partner who specializes in the sales, implementation, and direct maintenance support of the Avaya IP Office and Communication Manager solutions.

This is an outside sales position, must travel to Chicagoland area
customer sites to make sales presentations. 2 Main offices are both located in
Evanston. Must be able to generate business, some opportunities will be
provided, but most must be generated independently. Ability to continuously
keep current in terms of knowledge and applications, while acting in a

Candidate Requirements:

~~ 2+ years of telephone system sales
~~ experience with Avaya/Lucent solutions (especially IP Office and Communication Manager) a big plus
~~ College degree and reliable car required
~~ Strong prospecting/calling skills
~~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
~~ Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
~~ Strong desire to succeed and a natural Team Player
