PC Support Administrator

Lifetime Brands, Inc. is a leading designer, developer, and marketer of a broad range of nationally branded consumer products used in the home.  Our five main product categories are Kitchenware, Tabletop and Home Decor, Cutlery and Cutting Boards, Bakeware, Pantryware and Spices.  We currently have a need for a PC Support Administrator in our E. Boston location.  This position reports to the Network Manager and will administer and maintain the Company’s workstations and desktop software. Ideal candidate will enjoy challenges in a fast paced, progressive information systems environment.

 

Essential FunctionsDrive desktop workstation support issues from the fact finding stage to the implementation of solutions Support and resolve all aspects of Lifetime Brands East Boston and remote locations internal help desk issues Be the front line resource for desktop hardware and software issues Assist in resolution of network related issues Provide 24 x 7 pager support on a rotating schedule Meet project schedules/goals.

 

Position RequirementsBS in Computer Science or related degree preferred At least 4 years in a professional IT capacity PC/Laptop hardware troubleshootingActive Directory experience is a must - installation, migration, and set upWindows XP ProfessionalWindows NT/98Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 experience preferredFamiliarity with Internet protocolsGood oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independentlyExcellent communication skills Strong problem solving skills A proactive, team player
