PC Support-PC/Printer Repair Technician

ATEC is currently seeking a full time PC Support-PC/Printer Repair Technician

ResponsibilitiesBreak/Fix technician with Desk side support experiencePerforms general maintenance, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems and associated peripheralsInstallation and configuration of desktop computersProvides warranty services on the bench and in the field.Drive as needed throughout the capital district and general 60 mile radius to repair equipment at various customer sites. Manage/Control parts inventory of assigned repairsUtilization of vendor resources, web sites and technical manuals as needed to accurately diagnose, repair and/or install your work the first time correctly.Work closely with Service Coordinator and Management to plan your work on a daily, weekly and monthly basis so you may achieve required metrics.Answer phones and analyze problem areas to properly route service calls in shop or in a help desk environment

 

RequirementsMust be A+ certified Preferred HP/Compaq Desktop, Laptop and Printer certificationsStrong PC/Hardware maintenance and repair skills2+ years experience in Laptop Maintenance & Repair 2+ years experience in Printer Maintenance & Repair2+ years experience as a Field TechnicianExperience preferred but not limited to HP/Compaq desktops, laptops and Laser/Color printers as well as Toshiba laptops. Good general knowledge and experience with all versions of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft products to include Networking, (TCP/IP protocol) and hardware configurationKnowledge of wireless networkingGeneral working knowledge of Virus, Spyware & Adware removalMust possess proven customer relation, time management & organizational skills Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision as well as a in a team orientated environment are a must.
