Product Analyst
CITY/STATE: Wilmington, MAPOSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: EngineeringEDUCATION LEVEL: Master's DegreeSALARY: 60,000.00 - 70,000.00 USD /year Product Analyst GENERAL FUNCTION: The Product Analyst, Litigation Support is primarily responsible for supporting product management in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets requirements of users. This includes, but is not limited to, deep analysis around marketing litigation support mix, product attributes, and competitors. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Product Analyst for Litigation Support will help identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives and drive product functionality delivering high quality products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Create requirements based on user and client needs 2. Work with development, professional services and product management teams to define products 3. Write specification documents for product features 4. Conduct competitive analysis and ongoing competitive and market landscape tracking activities 5. Gather intelligence about how existing services are being received by customers, supply product development, product management, and marketing with data, and conceptualized new feature/service enhancements they could build and sell 6. Work with marketing in creation or updating of new sales/marketing material 7. Provide training for sales, presales and implementation staff for releases 8. Other duties as assigned EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS: 1. Undergraduate degree in analytical or engineering field. MBA preferred, but not necessary 2. 2+ years’ product management or product analyst or market analyst or similar experience, preferably related to litigation and/or corporate legal software products 3. General familiarity with document and information management products is a definite plus 4. Firm grasp of Product Management, Marketing, Project Management, and Pricing fundamentals 5. A natural curiosity for problem-solving as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills 6. Knowledge of application design and software development methodologies 7. Excellent verbal and written communications skills 8. Experience working in fast-paced, team environment 9. Detail-oriented and extremely organized, with proven ability to establish priorities and achieve results 10. Creative and self-motivated with the ability to work independently on a team with aggressive timetables 11. Ability to work well with others in a highly demanding, highly collaborative environment 12. Advanced experience with MS Office Products 13.
