Product Manager for Software Tools and LibrariesJob Description The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager will serve as the product owner, representing the customer, in the agile development process. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals. The Product Manager is expected to: Define and drive the product roadmap Deliver MRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification for each software release Ensure release features are in alignment with roadmap goals Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities Work in close collaboration with the development team to make tradeoffs that occur throughout the development process Perform competitive analysis Serve as the overall champion for the product Required experience and knowledge  Minimum 3-5 years experience as Product Manager Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products 8-10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in DSP, FPGA, EDA or ASIC markets Technical background with good understanding of DSP based design flows. Knowledge of FPGA and ASIC design flows a plus Worked in an Agile development process Excellent teamwork skills Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams Strong written and verbal communications skills essential Knowledge of  GUI based tools, Java, C, C++, Verilog, VHDL programming a plus BS in CS/EE or equivalent. MS preferred. MBA a plus Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time Location: Portland, OR
