Product Marketing Manager

ClearCube Product Marketing Manager

 

 

Job Overview:
Based in the north Austin ClearCube Building, the Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining and managing new ClearCube solutions.  New solutions can include improvements to existing solutions and cost reductions, as well as bringing new technologies to market through next generation products.  The Product Marketing Manager will be heavily involved in Product Strategy, the development of a multi year Product Roadmap, ongoing product pricing, and effective bundling of hardware, software, and services to increase both revenue and margins.  Marketing input will be gathered by working with channel partners and contacting key customer accounts directly.   The Product Marketing Manager will report directly to the Director of Product Marketing.

Main Responsibilities:

·         Collecting, compiling, and prioritizing product requirements.

·         Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning through to end of life.

·         Specifying market requirements for new products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers, conferences, and trade shows.

·         Working with channel partners and customers to build business cases for products.

·         Working with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and other departments to develop and support project plans bringing new products to market.

·         Generating collateral for new products including data sheets, website content, product announcements, press releases, and technical white papers to support sales and use of new products.

 

·         Working with customers to validate solutions and generate “success stories”.

 

·         Writing articles and contributing to blogs in support of new products.

 

Requirements:

·         BS/MS degree, either technical or business

·         3+ years working in some aspect of Product Marketing.

·         Practical technical knowledge of common HW & SW components (CPU, chipsets, memory, storage, BIOS, O/S) used in Enterprise computer systems

·         Additional knowledge of MS-Windows operating systems and/or server/desktop virtualization is a plus

·         Familiarity with typical MS-Office applications, Word and Excel and PowerPoint

·         Business acumen suitable to development of business cases, ROI calculation, and margin analysis

·         Effective presentation skills.

·         Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
