Product Verification Engineer

Location: US-CA-Silicon Valley/Peninsula Requisition ID:  REQ60352692 (Post ID:71641954) Job Level:  Experienced (Non-Manager)Job Description:Software Quality Assurance position located in Silicon Valley.  As a Product Verification Engineer, qualified candidate will lead their assigned feature set and work with group of highly motivated test engineers. Qualified candidate will be involved in reviewing product requirement documents, functional specifications, creating test strategies on their assigned features, developing test plan and test cases.  Candidates are expected to provide independent quality assessment of assigned features with regular updates on test case execution progress, product defect reports and work with team lead to meet quality goals, performance metrics, and release criteria. Required Skills:·  8+ years of recent and relevant experience in area of product testing·  Experience in estimating test effort on assigned areas·  Experience with test case tracking and defect management systems·  Experience in leading and mentoring individuals/teams·  Must have strong hands-on knowledge of common TCP/IP protocols including but not limited to:  L2 switching (VLAN, STP, etc), L3 routing·  Hands on experience with standard test and debug tools for Ethernet based products·  Experience with functional and system testing·  Proven technical and interpersonal skills in a multi-function and dynamic team environment. Innovation, creativity, able to work out side of the box.·  Experience with Ixia, Spirent or other equivalent test gear Desired Skills:·  Experience with Clarify·  Experience with Quality Center·  Experience with security protocols  (SSL, IPSec, etc)·  Experience with 802.11 WLAN protocols a plusTravel Required:  Minimal travel Position Type:  Full Time, Employee Relocation assistance:  None,  Homebase Eligible:  NO Shift:  Day/First Shift Business Unit:  ESPN
