Production Planner - APICS Certified

Production Planner - Integration CenterWe are growing and opening a new Integration Center in Chandler, Arizona. This position will be located in Phoenix until July 2008. In July, we will move to our new facility in Chandler just located off the 202 and Kyrene. The ideal candidate will have PLANNING AND SCHEDULING experience in the Electronics Industry or Computer Integration. This position will oversees the identification and scheduling of all required elements toensure effective production within an assigned product area (IBM, Dell, HP, ESS).Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Plans and establishes production schedules. Monitors materials inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors which affect schedules. Coordinates the implementation of all integration documentation and anysubsequent changes. Plan, setup and release work orders to production to provide continuous product flow and on-time delivery of customer orders. Review manufacturer assembly instructions and schedule work orders inaccordance with design and assembly instructions and customer lead times. Review work orders and report problems and material shortages to management. Revise work orders as required due to material shortages or customer changes. Monitor production against the schedule and communicates status. Release configuration skus on integration orders. Work with materials to resolve any picking discrepancies with the warehouse and production requirements. Act as primary interface to inside sales teams for production communication and scheduling.Knowledge and Skill: Demonstrated effective customer service skills Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently analyze and price contract requests. Demonstrated analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail.Work experience requirements: Two years of previous production planning or other related work experiences involving the coordination of a variety of elements to meet a scheduled due date.Education & Certification Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
