The Professional Services Engineer is responsible for going to customer sites to install, configure and trouble shoot AGS products.
Job Requirements:
Must demonstrate a constructive and positive attitudeMust demonstrate great aptitude – ability to learn new things quicklyMust be willing to travel up to 100% of the timeWilling to work weekends and evenings as neededSelf motivatedStrong technical trouble shooting abilitiesMust be customer service minded and focusedExcellent problem solving skillsIT or Business related degree Dialogic installation & configuration experience Experience building Compaq, HP, IBM or Dell Server hardware MCSE 2000 or 2003 & A+ Certifications Hardware and server experience
Essential Functions:Assemble and configure computer telephony server hardware componentsInstall & configure Windows NT, 2000 or 2003 Server operating system software Install & configure third party software componentsInstall & configure high volume storage, tape backup systems & softwareAccurately test, verify quality and document server build for support purposesExercise care and quality at all times while observing ESD proceduresMust be able to travel to a customer’s site to work as needed Proactively obtaining, creating, maintaining and organizing installation documentation Completing any additional tasks, special projects, providing customer support, and/or on-site installation and configuration as directed by managementOther duties as assigned.
