P2 Solutions Group is currently looking for a Program Manager with a proven track record of managing complex, mission critical projects. We need experienced consultants who manage technology initiatives to deliver real business results and value customer-focused people who are willing to go the extra mile to get the project done and deliver what the customer needs. 

 

As a P2 Program Manager, you will work with our customers to deliver their projects to market in-scope and on-time. Your initial engagement will be managing a cross-functional software development team to deliver the software for next-generation mouse and keyboard, and internet communication hardware devices for our customer in Redmond, WA.Job Responsibilities:

 

·  Manage cross functional software development teams to deliver projects to market in-scope and on-time

·  Gather requirements as necessary from senior technical management and business stakeholders

·  Primary functional analyst responsible for delivering functional specification, the primary functional design document for the project

·  Develops, maintains and executes project’s master project plan, reporting project status to management & project team on weekly basis

·  Drives implementation of critical trade-off decisions (i.e. features vs. resources vs. schedule)

·  Implements, drives and manages risk assessment and risk management of project

·  Works with business and sr. technical functional leads to ensure project resources are available per project’s requirements

·  Delivers daily status reports if needed.Requirements:

 

·  Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

·  3 plus years software team project management experience shipping multiple projects to market

·  Ability to draft and baseline a functional specification, and manage a team to deliver against it

·  Ability to create a project plan and manage team to execute against it

·  Ability to report status to customers and sponsors

·  Familiarity with end-to-end software development lifecycle; experience with MSF a plus

·  Technical depth and experience in DirectX, Windows Presentation Foundation, C++, C#

·  Experience working in Windows development environment at driver level (nice-to-have)

·  BA/BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent educational experience
