The Contact Center Applications team is responsible for developing and maintaining a majority of the applications used by the Walgreens Customer Care Centers. This position is for a mid-level experienced, highly motivated individual who is willing to work in a team environment.Essential Skills:- Understand overall project development life cycle and, under supervision, may participate in all phases of the project.- Research and analyze business problems, develop recommended solutions, and formulate project scope and objectives for small to mid size projects.- Perform technical and functional design of application systems, including database and file design, screen navigation, validation, module structure, restart ability, disaster recovery, error handling, timing and scheduling, transaction documentation, and system security.- Ability to work closely with other Walgreens IT teams and follow development standards and documentation procedures.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or Information Systems).- Excellent communication (written and verbal), coordination and people skills.- One to Two years of experience in design, development and implementation of application software in J2EE technologies (Java, JSP, Servlet) and WSAD 5.- Experience creating complex stored procedures (Oracle, SQL Server 2000).- Visual Basic, Crystal Reports 11 or PHP a plus.- Experience with Avaya Interaction Center and Avaya IVR Designer a plus..Additional Information: Travel Percentage: 12% Company: Walgreens Location: Deerfield, IL 60015 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Career Level: Entry Level Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Company: Walgreens Reference Code: PCK347-38805
