Project Manager - Service Systems

JOB OVERVIEW:



 

Provide necessary Service project leadership to drive overall data strategy, architecture and other emerging data technology solutions (e.g., Call Center, Service CRM, Siebel, Oracle for Service, Service repair claims databases, data integration, and data warehousing).  Develop Service systems and application business requirements and provide overall project management to determine solutions, costs, ROI and systems roadmap to meet Service and Support infrastructure requirements.

Provide comprehensive consultation to business for overall Service systems and application selection, implementation, integration and overall systems management at the highest technical level for data architecture to meet Service and Support CRM systems requirements.

Lead efforts to establish comprehensive conceptual data roadmap and facilitate proper governance processes to set and maintain standards.



 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 



§  Work and coordinate with business and IT teams to establish data strategy and identify technology solutions to achieve business results.

§  Ensure appropriate implementation of technology within both the development and production environments.

§  Establish data architecture strategy that aligns with the business strategy.

§  Design and develop overall data architecture and investigate emerging technology solutions.

§  Oversee design and implementation for Service and Support CRM functions for comprehensive customer facing solutions.

§  Oversee the introduction of new data architecture and integration technology solutions into the operations environment by setting the standards and governance process.

§  Provide data architecture and modeling technical expertise and ability communicate technical requirements into high level business principles.

§  Work with business owners and PMO manager to develop data strategy and roadmaps to support business strategies.

§  Communicate status of projects and implementations to PMO manager and PMO Steering Committee on a regular basis.

§  Maintain deep understanding of data architecture and technology solutions (CRM, Siebel, Oracle, Service for Notebook and or Consumer Service systems, systems and data integration, etc.)

§  Evaluate new technologies or technology opportunities and provide analysis of their potential impact to advantage the business.





 

REQUIREMENTS:

 



§  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, Master’s preferred.

§  Diverse experience in IT service, with a focus in data architecture and engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

§  Minimum 6 years hands on experience of IT design and solutions integration for Service and Call Center systems plus a minimum of 4 years leading complex IT Service and applications implementation projects with demonstrated success.

§  Direct experience implementing CRM systems for a multi location network environment.

§  Appropriate technical skills in architecting and engineering data architecture solutions.

§  In-depth knowledge of infrastructure and operations.

§  Comprehensive understanding of change management techniques associated with new technology implementation.

§  Experience producing an economic business case and ROI.

§  Strong judgment; excellent analytical ability and consulting skills.

§  Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of IT and business management and with vendors.

§  Maintains deep knowledge of technology and applications across Service

§  Determines appropriate theories, practices and principles that relate to Service CRM technology to meet Service business requirements.

§  Contributes technological innovation to drive new business opportunities and solve complex business problems.

§  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

§  Excellent working experience with Microsoft Project.
