Walgreens promotes and supports a drug-free and smoke-free workplace.Essential Skills:Has project management responsibilities to include: defining deliverables; assigning roles/responsibilities; creating a detailed project plan with associated milestones; educating the combined team on the change control process; creating and executive and team calendar of events (e.g. for progress reporting), and driving organizational understanding.Prepares cost and time estimates on designated efforts. When acting as project leader, prepares project plans and contingency plans, and monitors and controls project activities against these plans.Performs detailed call flow optimization analysis of current state environments in inbound and outbound customer care facilities and compares it to the target state in order to create a gap analysis, and recommend solutions.Responsible for developing business requirements, and may perform necessary tasks to coordinate, test, implement, and maintain software applications.Meets with managers, directors, and executives of user departments to determine system needs, resolve problems, and explore potential new business or technical solutions and options.Responsible for performing research and analysis of business problems, developing recommended solutions, and formulating project scope and objectives.Evaluation of processes for the customer care center applications to identify inefficiencies and recommend technical or automation of solutions. Prepare evaluations of existing systems in order to coordinate subsequent enhancements or redesign to improve productivity, minimize costs, and improve service.Maintains knowledge of and complies with the IT Department’s standards, policies, and practices concerning quality assurance, data security, and disaster recovery.Audits own performance and recommends own objectives and standards of performance.Works concurrently on multiple high-level, complex projects.
