RF/Antenna Engineer- CONSULTANT

The RF/ Antenna Consultant will be responsible for board-level support and input for the development of our next-generation fleet system camera.

Primary responsibility will be to perform WiFi/Wireless antenna performance measurements for verification and selection purposes. Will guide our team in relation to RF and WiFi antenna issues. Model, design, benchmark and Wireless propagation.

Technology assessment and requirement architecture development. Includes documentation and presentation.

 

Responsible for some RFIC silicon verification, system integration, testing, and product reference designs. Will include preparation and participation in design reviews, schematic creation, layout optimization, and working closely with our engineering team in reference to our next-gen WiFi antenna.

 

MUST have at least 10+ years of solid RF experience primarily in a fast paced, start-up environment.

MUST have solid experience in WiFi and Wireless antenna performance and issues.

Extensive knowledge and rich experience in research and development of antennas.

Experience in wireless or cell phone industry a BIG PLUS

Proficient at operating and testing using: Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator; Analytic Probe Station.

Anechoic chamber and antenna far-field testing system

Good working knowledge of RF testing system

Skillful in simulation software: C++, Matlab.

 

This is a CONTRACT position- up to 6+ months
