Regional IT Infrastructure Manager

More than a third of the world’s electricity generated with hydropower is produced with turbines and generators made by Voith Siemens Hydro, and our products can be found in such applications as  the Hoover Dam, Niagara Falls, Holtwood, and Conowingo.  With over a 120 year history in the York Area, Voith Siemens is the most financially sound hydro turbine equipment producer, and offers a great and stable working environment for which to have a long and fulfilling career.  Voith Siemens is currently searching for a dedicated, enthusiastic and self motivated candidate to fill the Regional IT Infrastructure Manager position:

 Plans, assigns and monitors the work of IT personnel providing services to departments. Selects, trains, supervises and evaluates this personnel. Directs and participates in the development of operating policies and prcedures for the IT Department. Evaluates and responds to systems and programming service and project requests from departments. Assigns department staff or assists in procuring contracted systems and staff. Determines future computerization information system user needs; develops prjections and plans for implementation. Coordinates activities and problem solving efforts of department staff; works with users and managers to encourage coordination efforts. Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems and and a minimum of 4 years experience as an IT Specialist with design and training knowledge. Experience supervising staff providing end user support. Strong background in Project Management in IT Infrastructure. Ability to work effectively as part of a team or individually.
