Regional Sales Director - SAN Solutions

Fantastic opportunity to build and grow a territory with a unique storage management solution that literally sells itself! Company is in its fifth year of business and really has no competition in this niche of capacity management planning and is growing quickly.


 This individual will be responsible for building the region through prospecting as well as qualified leads.  Once established, this individual will then continue to develop business while developing a team of Account Executives and Sales Engineers so this individual should be comfortable as a "bag-carrying" sales executive as well as taking on a leadership role.  Position will be home-based initially or an executive suite office, 30 - 50% travel.


Requirements
Qualified candidate must have experience selling storage/SAN solutions and an understanding of data storage.  Should have demonstrated track record of building a territory, preferably with a start-up organization.  Sales management experience is preferred.  Storage software sales experience such as Legato or Veritas is a plus.  Candidates should have successful history of attaining quota for an upper Midwest territory (IL/IN/MI/MN/WI).  Excellent communications skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal - as well as a self-starter.

 

Candidates must be permanent residents of the US.  Candidates must currently reside in the territory mentioned above, Chicago area strongly preferred.
