Regional Service Manager

In strong partnership with the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing the service of all company products (which are digital imaging kiosks) in the field including the installation, maintenance, repair, de-installation and transfer of the Company's equipment in order to increase both corporate revenue and customer satisfaction.  Analyzes assets in the field to determine effective servicing plan which includes route analysis and ongoing evaluation.  Develops and manages appropriate staffing plan to support regional customer bases.  Recruits independent service reps as needed and manages the ongoing relationship with these techs.  Monitors equipment performance to ensure maximum uptime.  Coordinates all field installs and transfers of equipment. Makes recommendations to management as to how to best utilize the assets in the region by constantly monitoring performance and results, making changes as appropriate on a timely and strategic basis.  Extensive travel by car and plane to customer locations throughout the mid-Atlantic region is required.  A multi state region includes NC, TN, MD, VA, WV.   The Regional Service Manager will ideally be located in Richmond, Charlotte, Baltimore or Nashville to most easily support the Region.

 

Ideal candidate will have 7 to 9 years of technical service related experience inclusive of both account and personnel management.  Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and tight deadlines, and demonstrated knowledge of technical service delivery are required.  Prior experience with customer interaction and relationship building is needed.  Ability to develop a service strategy to support the region, to develop a tactical business plan and to execute this strategy in order to deliver P&L results is necessary.
