SAP WM ( Warehouse Management ) Implementation Engineer

Our rapid growth has created the need for a SAP WM Implementation Engineer. The primary function of this position is to be responsible for technical and functional design and development effort of SAP solutions for Material In Motion's business requirements.

 

Position:  SAP WM Implementation Engineer

Location:  Mountain View, CA

Reports to:    IT Development Manager

Type of position:  Full Time, Exempt

 

Responsibilities

 

In this role, you will be responsible for working together with our users and project team members to ensure the successful implementation and support of the SAP WM solution. Work includes application analysis, design, implementation and testing as part of a SAP project team.

 

Requirements:

 

Experience in SAP Modules relating to Logistics & Distribution in SAP 4.6 C or higher releases.

 

5+ years of SAP WM (Warehouse Management) design, configuration and implementation expertise with a minimum of one full lifecycle projects in SAP/WM

 

Successful delivery of SAP/WM process transformation, change management and technology initiatives.

 

Understanding of the various integration and interface options with SAP WM.

 

Comprehensive knowledge of interfaces with other SAP modules including Sales & Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM).

 

Proven experience in delivery output conditions and interfaces using ALE and idocs.

 

Previous experience of working successfully in a highly customized SAP environment.

 

Ability to gain business knowledge and understanding of the warehouse and logistics operations.

 

Developing solutions in distinct functional areas including design, analysis, configuration, testing and support.

 

Required to work with development teams to define business cases and functional specifications for enhancements e.g. reports, interfaces and functional enhancements.

 

Provide hands-on leadership, direction, and mentoring to the team.

 

Major Field of Study: Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related experience.
