SEC & Technical Accounting Manager

High growth, publicly traded high tech/manufacturing company is looking to add a SEC & Technical Accounting Manager to its finance/accounting team to provide leadership and technical expertise.  Annual revenues for this company have progressively grown year over year (approx $300M in FY06) and their stock is up 25% over the past 12 months.  They are the market leader in their space.



This is a newly created position to accommodate growth and, once hired, the SEC/Tech Accounting Manager will report to the Corp Controller but will have direct reports falling under him/her.  This person will be primarily responsible for the preparation of financial statements, SEC reporting, SOX obligations, GAAP compliance and technical accounting research.This Manager will also work cross functionally with other groups including Revenue, G/L, FP&A, and Legal on various issues.



The ideal candidate will have 7+ years with a preferable mix of public and industry accounting in a technical role.  Superstars with less experience who are willing to step in, take charge and learn may also be considered.  CPA or MBA is a must.  The company offers competitive compensation which includes base, bonus (consistently paid out), options, and a great work environment.
