SQL Developer

We have an excellent 3 month contract for hire position available with a direct client located in Woodbury, MN. Our client would like to have a strong SQL Developer join their team as soon as possible.

 

Our direct client's primary financial system, SmartStream, requires support through the creation and management of T-SQL stored procedures in Sybase, the creation of requirements documentation, and support of the regular financial batch process used to load, post and extract data. Support of this system requires development, debugging and extensive optimization of SQL stored procedures, the creation of UNIX shell script and the creation of scripts in PERL.
In addition, some work using .Net technologies (C#, etc.) is a possibility together with the creation of extensive written documentation.


Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:
- SQL Stored Procedures (T-SQL Preferred)
- UNIX Shell Scripting
- PERL Scripting
- .Net Development (C#, ADO.Net)
- Finance and Accounting
- SmartStream, Oracle Financials, SAP or similar system
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Software design methodology
