Description The position of SQL Report Developer is located in Santa Ana, CA and requires an individual that can communicate, understand, translate, and deliver report requests for a diverse user community. From a set of requirements, they will create and maintain reports using SQL as well as work with the database to create stored procedures, functions and views. Job requires interfacing with business owners, internal and external groups to understand requirements and suggest solutions, troubleshoot problems and support business reporting needs.The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the entire scope of work and is not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will NOT preclude it from the position.Work with users to gather specifications for data and report requirements.Effectively translates end user reporting requirements into technical design documents.Understand complete report writing process.Create, Maintain, Optimize and support new and existing complex reports.Strong testing disciplines.Systematically identify and define problems, evaluate alternatives and implement effective solutions.Using knowledge of database relations, creates design documents that can be used for efficient and accurate report developmentDevelop SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and/or calculate information to fulfill data and reporting requirementsTroubleshoot reporting and report scheduling issuesAble to demonstrate strong leadership and team building skills in a diverse environment.Excellent oral and written communications skills with all employee levels including Sr. Management.Strong computer skill using Window, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint. THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION PAYING 80k FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATERequirementsQualificationsRequired Skills:Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Business related majorStrong knowledge of SQL.
