SQL Server DBA

 Company  is seeking a Database Administrator with strong Transact SQL, Reporting services and with excellent verbal and written communications skills to support our project teams. Candidates will need Database Administration experience with Microsoft SQL Server versions 2005/2000, Advanced Transact-SQL, Reporting services 2005/2000 Essential Job Functions - Lead SQL Server 2005/2000 software installation, maintenance and conversions- Maintain multiple databases in QA, Test and Production environments- Test, monitor and suggest ways to tune performance on SQL Server 2000 and 2005 databases- Create Reports in Reporting services and deploying in both Test and Production environments- Writing complex T-SQL stored procedures and functions - Manage databases with multiple applications and servers- Manage, Maintain and Create Backup strategies based on database size and server configuration- Manage, Maintain and Create Jobs in different servers based on project requirements.- Optimize query and database performance- Troubleshooting experience in production environment - Create and Maintain Replication among different servers- Experience in doing above functions in both 32 bit and 64 bit server environments Requirements   3-5 years of Database Administration experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005  Experience in working with both 32 bit and 64 bit environments  2+ years of experience in Replication, Log Shipping  5+ years of experience with writing Transact-SQL  2+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services in SQL 2005  Understanding of web services and multi-tier application development  Experience with SSIS and SSAS is a big plus  Experience with Panorama NovaView a plus  Microsoft certifications a plus Company: Harvey Nash Location: Bridgeport, CT Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Company: Harvey Nash Reference Code: CS15727
