Sales Account Executive to join our expanding Northern Region based in Minneapolis MN.

We are currently in need of an Account Executive to join our expanding Northern Region based in Minneapolis MN.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Sigma Solutions is engaged with the industry leading providers of enterprise information storage and server solutions from companies such as SUN, EMC, HDS, Network Appliance, Symantec, VMWare, and Cisco.  Our “best-of-breed” solution approach is what makes Sigma Solutions unique in our ability to provide a breadth of solutions to meet our client’s IT needs and challenges. 

 

The Account Executive at Sigma Solutions is an exceptional sales job; one which pays extremely well for success. We emphasize the business partnership aspects of the client relationship; you'll be expected to sell the main solution areas that Sigma Solutions offers; data center information technology solutions and consulting services for systems integration, server and storage solutions and network solutions.  


It is the Account Executive’s responsibility to find, qualify and develop new accounts.  Successful Account Executives also have a solid understanding of technology including a variety of hardware and software platforms. Our business model and framework allows an Account Executive the best combination of exceptional internal expertise (over 35 consultants and engineers) to assist them in addition to an excellent inside sales staff and solid administration organization.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:
Proven sales success in data center hardware and software solution sales and an understanding of data center computer hardware/software platforms.
Relationship selling experience and an understanding of solution selling.

Local territory experience and relationships along with a book of business is a plus.
Aggressive, high-energy approach to doing business, self starter, money motivated, confident along with a strong sense of urgency.

Proven success at cold calling into new accounts and developing relationships and opportunities.
Ability to orchestrate resources in a team selling environment.
Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, along with effective listening skills.

Business acumen to understand the whole customer picture while executing at the detail level.
Willingness to devote personal time to customers and vendor partners to develop relationships.
