JOB DESCRIPTION SALES ASSOCIATE

 GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

 

As a member of the Sales team, the Sales Analyst is responsible for supporting the sales process and reporting.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

§  Interacting on the telephone with salespeople, current clients and potential clients.

§  Gathering information necessary to produce a sales quote.

§  Interacting with the Radiant finance to process orders through shipment.

§  Assisting with data for weekly financial reports.

§  Other responsibilities as assigned to support the goals of the sales team.

§  Good oral and written communication skills.  Listening skills very important.

 REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

§  Strong people and phone skills are required.

§  2 years of sales experience or restaurant industry experience.

§  Strong Microsoft Office skills – especially Excel.

§  Must be able to build relationships.

§  Must be detail oriented.

§  Good oral and written communication skills.  Listening skills very important.

§  Results-oriented, high-energy self-starter focused on accomplishing objectives.

§  Ability to work with “team spirit” as a member of Sales team.

§  Demonstrated ability to manage to a plan.

§  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
