Sales Director - West

Agito Networks is looking for a highly motivated sales professional. Candidate must have experience selling hardware products in the networking space. Must be highly self-motivated and demonstrate a proven selling track record in a fast-paced high-tech company.

The Sales Director is responsible for generating end-user demand with enterprise, educational institutions, and state & local agencies through face-to-face sales calls, as well as building and managing VAR and strategic partners in the area. Fulfillment of the product will be done primarily through channel partners.

This position reports to the VP of North American Sales.

Specific Duties: Sells products to new customers in an assigned area to achieve or exceed assigned quotaContacts prospective customers to determine product needs and performs sales presentations to match company's products and identified needsRemains knowledgeable of Agito Networks' products to facilitate sales effortMaintains sales records and prepares sales reports as requiredProvides follow-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products providedMaintain a 90-day rolling forecastManage all aspects of the evaluation/trial programRecruits and manages strategic partners in their respective regionSubmits Contracts, NDAs and Evaluation Agreements for proper executionDevelops and manages Partner Business Plan with each partner and conducts quarterly review with Aruba managementProvides continuing education and program development for partners. Example: Lunch & LearnResponsible for creating an environment and infrastructure necessary to insure successful partner development and activity50% plus travel required within area to support end-user and channel partnersIdentify prospects in area, and understand competition in region and general business climateRequirements/Skills: Excellent written & verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation skillsIntelligence: Ability to learn new technologies quicklyDrive: Passionate, Extremely high energy level - 55+ hour work weeks, highly motivated sales starterResourcefulness: Impressive ability to find ways over, under, around & through barriersCustomer Focus: Extremely sensitive & adaptive to both stated and unstated customer needsTeam Oriented: Creates focused, collaborative, results-driven teams (internal & partners), energizes othersTrack Record: Proven, consistent over achievement of sales quotas - exceeds customers expectationsIntegrity: "Ironclad"Demonstrate the ability to work independentlyDemonstrate the ability to manage multiple objectives, tasks and clientsEducation & Sales Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business or sales management; may have post graduate education or trainingMinimum of eight to ten years selling experience in high-tech sales, preferable hardware salesWe offer: Competitive salaryCompany stock optionsHighly challenging and rewarding environmentAbility to impact the business
