Ideally, you are a strategic, process oriented, excellent communicator with a strong technology background. You must be a proven achiever, demonstrated leader for a sales organization, and be able to bring the right skills to the situation at hand. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; with big-picture vision, and the drive and relentlessness to make that vision a reality. The ideal candidate will work closely with Marketing and Product management to develop go-to-market strategies, annual goals and execution models. Strong familiarity with industry verticals and online enterprise companies: SaaS, E-commerce, online communities, high-traffic websites and portals, content delivery, and online marketing... web 2.0.

Sales Manager for Managed Hosting will have the following responsibilities: Run the sales group for Managed Hosting: be responsible for all sales personnel and the forecast set in conjunction with Sr. Management.Effectively utilize the CRM system to document all sales information.Promote direct and channel sales through marketing efforts.Drive points of differentiation with the sales force and product to strengthen those points and articulate them to sales prospects.Maintain high level of knowledge on industry trends, competitors and products.Prepare written strategic presentations and reports on sales attainment, challenges, and forecasting.Drive sales force to achieve consistently through sales tools, guidance, and proven sales tactics.

 The candidate will also perform on the following: Regular feedback and reporting on deal-loss scenarios.Work with Product Marketing on price-elasticity.Be involved directly in the larger deals that present themselves. Required Skills

Strong relationship building skills. Ability to balance short term revenue generating activities with longer term strategic company objectives.The ability to hunt for new direct and channel opportunities and manage existing partnerships and accounts.Work closely with Strategic Partners to identify opportunities, provide customer-centric solutions, and deliver ongoing customer support. Must be able to create and execute an account business plan, and be detail oriented with excellent planning and follow up skills. Highly articulate, solid communicator and fast learner.Finally, the ideal candidate will have proven experience selling telecom or IT products and services through channel partners. We're looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit and a business development background to drive and grow revenue. Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in technical field or business or related experience.Previous technical sales experience with a focus on networking technologies, and telecom hardware such as routers, switches and other network gear and datacenter services.Account management expertise, professional customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Long-term sales cycle management with consultative, solutions-oriented approach.Existing relationships with major resellers and VARs.Experience working with System Integrators and professional services organizations. Experience working with large software Channel partners.Experience in sales to Fortune 1000 companies.
