Sales Operations Manager
Sales Operations Manager, Inkjet Business
We are looking for a hands-on Sales Operations Manager who will manage the sales operations and contract administration responsibilities in support of EFI’s Inkjet business (VUTEk and Jetrion) worldwide. This person will liaise with customers, partners, and other internal departments to provide tactical and strategic operational support for the worldwide sales team focusing on the pipeline to contract stage of the sales cycle. An important aspect of the role is to develop and maintain positive customer relations, sales team relations, and coordinate with various departments to ensure that customer and sales requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. This position reports to Director, Sales Operations.
Responsibilities:
1) Drive achievement of global revenue targets in key partnership with senior sales stakeholders
2) Primary sales contact for negotiating pricing, contract terms and conditions, and closing deals
3) Advisor to sales on deal requirements for revenue recognition
4) Manage team and process for executing printer contracts including creating order agreements, verifying pricing, collecting financial compliance documentation, deal financing and order entry
5) Ensure that salesforce.com is consistently updated with operational milestones for the Inkjet Business
6) Lead revenue forecasting and business analysis – provide global as well as detailed, regionalized visibility of current quarter forecast in terms of booking vs. recognizable revenue
7) Roll up Business Unit revenue update reports
8) Interpretation and analysis of sales pipeline
9) Manage the distributor contracts process and contract renewals
10) Support and enforce expectations and discipline around sales team adherence to established sales process
11) Collaborate with marketing team on sales promotions, programs and pricing; assist with executing program roll outs
12) Provide input to manufacturing printer scheduling
13) Provide input to installation schedule
14) Provide on-site contract administration support at key trade shows
15) Bring operational efficiencies to EFI in ongoing processes as well as integrating new business processes or acquisitions.
Requirements:University degree or equivalent5+ years experience in customer service, finance or sales operations – experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plusManagement/supervisory experience in a global environment preferredStrong attention to detail with an emphasis on customer service Excellent written and interpersonal communication skillsSuperior analytical skills, combined with excellent business judgment and ability to communicate with senior management level personnelStrong system skills – experience with SAP, Salesforce.com, Excel and other MS office applications a plusActive team player and works well under pressureOrganized, detail oriented individual with ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy of informationIntegrity with confidential informationCreativity in solving complex problemsAbility to work independently in support of team objectivesFamiliarity with revenue recognition rules (SAB 104, SOP 97-2, 98-9)
