Sales Representative - Data Comm

Due to our continued growth and success we are currently seeking a Data-Comm Sales Rep for Boston, MA. SALES REPRESENTATIVE - DATA COMMCHICAGO, IL (North)Responsibilities: · Create demand and sell Panduit products to current and prospective customers within the Chicago, IL market. · Promote Panduit products to local distributors and end user customers. · Negotiate major contracts, create significant distributor sales growth and achieve optimum distributor coverage in the territory.TravelRequires participation in national and local trade shows  Job Requirements· 3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the data communications. · BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Demonstrated success calling on multiple types of customers, at all levels, (OEM, MRO, distributors, end users, consultants, systems integrators, contractors, etc.) · Strong solution selling background with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer application problems and complaints. · Must be proficient in prospecting new accounts and following up on sales leads. · Excellent communications, presentation and relationship management skills. · Requires participation in national and local trade shows. · Valid driver's license required.
