Driven by the popularity of our Savannah Series ALD system and our expansion into new product lines and markets, Cambridge NanoTech is looking for engineering candidates with a background in high-technology vacuum deposition systems.

Support Engineer

This opportunity draws upon your technical support experience of high-technology processing equipment. You will blend your engineering and support talents with an ambition to deliver the highest level customer support in the growing field of ALD.

the succesful candidate has excellent knowledge of manufacturing or deposition equipment, and a demonstrated history of successfully supporting customers from problem diagnosis to resolution.

Role and Responsibilities

Technical Support

*Take responsibility for resolving customer issues from start to resolution

*Collect and respond to system bug reports, enhancement requests and engineering change orders

*Develop technical support policies and procedures for tracking customer issues

*Use support statistics to measure and guide product improvement

*Occasional travel to customer sites to assist in the installation or repair of ALD systems

Support Processes

*Assist in the acquisition of a web-based customer support management system

*Responsbile for creating internal customer support processes and procedures

*Creation of support policy documentation for maintenance, support and warranty services

Engineering Interface

*Participate and recommend improvements to ALD systems, features and options

*Communicate improvements to systems, software, testing and documentation

*Interfacing with contract manufacturing to assist in product, manufacturing and test improvements

Core Competencies

The ideal candidate for this position has:

*3-5 year track record of successfully supporting high technology equipment

*Ability to multitask within a team-oriented environment

*Strong verbal and written communication skills

*Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
