Security Analyst

Location: Omaha, NE 68154 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 2+ to 5 Years Reference Code: 1001048066 Technisource is a national provider of technology services, focused on achieving the unique goals of our clients and consultants.  This opportunity can be located in Omaha or Denver.  You will provide support for network and host based intrusion detection software and hardware (ISS Proventias, ISS Server Sensor, McAfee Entercept).  Administer intrusion detection security devices for all Intranet facing networks.  Maintains integrity and confidentiality of client information by ensuring appropriate standards are in compliance with department standards and procedures.  Maintain and assist in the design of the information security environment.  Work on complex projects that require strong security infrastructure knowledge.  Work independently with clients and Sr. Management on information security issues and strategies.  Provide some coaching to clients and lower level Information Security Administrators.Required Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience with ISS. - Administrative experience in intrusion detection/prevention software for Host, Networks and Wireless including ISS Proventia, ISS Server Sensor and McAfee Entercept. - Fundamental knowledge of firewalls - Security Event Management software - Security policy enforcement software - Defense in depth strategies and how security devices are deployed - Network security fundamentals -Strong Host Intrusion Detection experience  (RSSS and /or PSL) -Experience setting security policies and enabling signatures. - Host security on multiple platforms including UNIX, Windows and AIX based servers. - Web based application security Have a solid knowledge of Networks and TCP/IP - Ability to handle on-call duties in a 24x7 environment. - Ability assess risk and take appropriate actions in a timely manner - Excellent communications skills with all levels, from end users to executives - Understands business issues they support
