The Planet Internet Services Information Security Team provides 24 x 7 engineering support to resolve security incidents affecting The Planet and its customers. The Planet is currently hiring to fill key positions within the team. We look for individual initiative and independent thought and will provide a great opportunity, fast-paced environment, and workplace.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and manage firewalls, with an emphasis on Checkpoint and Cisco devices.Investigate server systems (Linux, BSD, Windows) for evidence of compromise or misuse.Respond to denial-of-service attacks affecting The Planet and its customers by investigating systems and network equipment.Respond to reports of unauthorized or anomalous network traffic.Perform OS hardening of customer servers.Respond to escalation calls from first level support teams.Install and partially manage F-Secure Anti-virus software.Creation of Team based environments with customers to develop, design, update, and implement new and current solutions.Mentoring and training of other engineers.Prompt and Professional Focus on assisting customers.Required Skills
