Senior C/C++/ GUI Developer

A leading financialtechnology company in NYC is looking for a solid developer to add to theirApplication Infrastructure Group, which supplies over 1,500 developers with anenvironment for rapid application deployment.  They provide developerswith components, toolkits, and frameworks necessary for writinghigh-quality, easy-to-use applications and deploying them to productionquickly. 

 

They are currently seeking a senior software engineer who isexperienced in C/C++ API design and has a background with a variety of GUItoolkits to join their team of disciplined and creative developers in evolvingtheir infrastructure arsenal to decrease time to market for font-endapplication writers.

 

Qualifications 5 + Years in writing object-oriented software using the C++ programming language Possess solid understanding of the properties and appropriate use of basic algorithms and data structure Experience with multiple GUI toolkits, and proficiency in both UNIX and Windows Familiarity with open source GUI toolkits such as GTK and Qt, as well as network programming is desired Knowledge in .Net, C#, WPF, JavaScript, or source control tools such as Subversion is a plus.

 

This is a full time permanent position
