NVIDIA is looking for a Compiler Test Engineer to work as an integral part of our development team during all phases of compiler development for our existing and future GPUs. Responsibilities:Work closely with the developers to collect and implement test requirements in step with feature development. Write test cases and test scripts to cover functional and performance testing. Write directed tests to fill coverage gaps. Develop and port benchmarks, conformance suites and third party test suites. Triage and isolate failures and identify probable causes. Work with development teams to ensure adequate and optimum coverage. Develop test procedures and prepare test documentation (test plans, reports) Provide input to the design, implementation, and enforcement of software quality process. Minimum Requirements:Ability to understand and write C/C++ code. Knowledge of compilation tool chain internals with a focus on testing of each phase. Basic scripting knowledge (Perl/Shell/Python,... etc.) A sound knowledge of software development principles is a plus. Experienced in QA methodologies, white box and black box testing, test planning and execution. Ability to work closely with developers to understand requirements. Ability to carry out role independently and resolve issues with minimal supervision. Outstanding attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of code coverage and memory management tools is preferred. GPU knowledge a plus. EOE
