Our client is developing solutions supporting the next generation of 3G and 4G high-speed mobile technologies. As part of the CellAirity™ Mobile Platform, our client offers a family of HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access), WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple-Access), EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution), GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) and GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) baseband processors for use in cellular handsets, PC cards and other wireless-enabled consumer electronics.

In this role, you will be part of System Integration Team responsible for integrating various components delivered from different technology teams to create a product based on requirements from Program Management for various mobile phone platforms.

 

Primary responsibilities are defining configuration management policies, procedures and overseeing the development and maintenance of configuration management tools, build tools and related tools that measure Software quality and audits for software release artifacts.

 

Job Requirements :

 Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering plus 12 years of related experience or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 9 years of related experience.Requires a good understanding of multi-site development.Must have good knowledge of Planning, tracking, reporting, auditing and management of configuration items.Must have good hands on knowledge of Source-code Version Control application – Perforce is preferable.Must have good hands on knowledge of Defect-Tracking application – Clear-Quest is preferable.Must have good knowledge of scripting-languages to automate different processes.Must anticipate new developments and challenges that affect SW CM area and work with other functional teams (Technology Teams, Quality, IT and Program management) to collectively address these challenges. Experience with ARM Development Tools is preferred.Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills. Must be well organized, methodical and detail oriented. Provide direction to team members according to established policies and management guidelines.
