Job Responsibilities: 

· Provide analyze, design, estimate, document, code, test, and deploy changes to the Correspondent web environments. This may include researching and addressing production issues.

· Assist other web team members with decisions on coding/framework standards and design approaches for future enhancements to the web sites.

· As a senior member of the web development team, build tools that will monitor environments to Systems to be proactive in monitoring issues before they cause outages.

· Serve as the member of the architect design team when developing new functionality to the web sites. Assist the web architect by offering new technologies or help in the design process for web changes.

· Ensure the satisfactory performance of the systems supported by the team, addressing issues of response time, availability, and disaster recovery.

· Act as a senior member of web development team as needed including analyzing, designing, estimating, documenting, coding, testing changes to the various environments.

· Participate in post-implementation activities, including addressing issues, and determining lessons learned.

· Work with Web Developers, Development Manager, Enterprise IT and VP.

 

Job Requirements:

· Four year college degree with an emphasis on business or technology preferred.

· Minimum 7 years software development experience including: 

o  Java / J2EE  (JSP, EJB, JMS, servlets)

o  Weblogic deployment/configuration experience preferred

o  XML 

o  Unix 

o  HTML 

o  Struts (Custom tag library usage) /Spring Framework experience

o  Hibernate

o  Oracle

o  Version control software

o  UML/Domain Modeling

o  ANT scripting

· Minimum 5 years experience with enterprise database software (Oracle preferred) including SQL and the creation of stored procedures.

· Demonstrated project participation including effort estimation, testing, timely task completion, and implementation. 

· Excellent customer service and an appreciation of total quality management on work environment.
