Senior Oracle Developer

Senior Oracle Developer Write complex PL/SQL queries, scripts and stored procedures for Fastweb.com, MonsterLearning and Monster’s Educational Directories businesses.  Evaluate user requests for new programs or complex modifications to existing programs.  Lead the design, development and implementation of customer facing web applications. Position is based in Chicago, IL.Essential Functions  Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment Strong programming ability with great attention to detail and design Demonstrated ability to design and assist in the timely delivery of high-quality software Ability to work independently and with team members Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical Ability to mentor other developers Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workloadQualifications 5+ years experience in a development environment 3+ years experience in PL/SQL development An understanding of development methodologies including design, coding and implementation best practices Client Orientation, Collaborative and the consummate team player Familiar with SQL Navigator or TOAD Familiar with large / highly transactional databases Experience in application tuning and optimization Familiarity with Java is a plus Experience with a data modeling tool is a plus Ad Serving experience is a plus BS Degree Monster Worldwide is committed to providing a safe workplace for all employees.
