We are looking for an experienced Sr. SAN Storage Administrator/Linux Administrator to install, troubleshoot, and support our customers across multiple regions domestically and abroad. In this role, the successful candidate will be managing multiple redundant SAN storage systems and implementing new SAN network designs and troubleshooting daily SAN Storage issues in a Linux heavy environment.  The Sr. SAN Administrator will be working in a great team environment, have lots of opportunities for training, but will be expected to learn and implement on your own as well.

We want someone who is experienced in a fast paced, small – medium sized environment, has experience in an ISP / Service provider environment as a Sr. SAN Administrator/Linux Administrator.

Requirements:

·         7+ years professional experience working as Sr. SAN Storage Administrator

 

·         3+years professional experience working as Linux Administrator

 

·         Expert hands on knowledge in deploy, configure, and maintain SAN and NAS storage devices. 

 

·         Expert hands on knowledge in deploy, configure, and maintain SAN switches, Brocade Silkworm Family.

 

·         Expert hands on experience with IBM DS4000 Series (DS4800 AND DS 4100) in a SAN environment.

 

·         Expertise with variety of SAN implementation on operating systems including Redhat Linux, Cento Linus, and Windows, databases (mySQL, MSSQL) and Exchange Server.

 

·         Diagram and implement LUNs on storage appliances.

 

·         System tuning and capacity planning activities geared towards meeting specified Service Levels

 

·         Data migrations between SANs, LUN

 

·         Strong Experience with Linux OS

 

·         Willingness and ability to teach and train others.

 

·         A team player with good verbal and written communication skill.

 

·         Must be willing to do desktop support on occasions.

 

·         Must be available to work in San Jose Corporate Office.

 

·         24x7 available for emergency escalations

 

·         Participate in ''On Call'' rotation
