Senior Software Design Engineer

The Senior Software Design Engineer will create OO software designs in C#, VB.NET, Java, Delphi and a proprietary OO languages. He or she will serve as a lead to other software engineers, work with Business Analysts to validate Use Cases and Requirements, work with the Integration Testing team to ensure quality, drive process improvement and mentor other team members. Your responsibility will be to oversee and ensure consistent implementation and zero-defect code.

-Develop effective, maintainable code in a timely fashion.

-Work with BAs and Integration Testing team to ensure quality code that meets the functional requirements.

-Oversee and review code to ensure that it meets established coding and architectural standards.

-Assist Configuration Manager with code builds.

Here's what you should bring to this position...

-The ability to design and implement object-oriented software applications, preferably in VB.NET or C#.

-The ability to handle multiple assignments

-The ability to recognize and implement common design patterns.

-The ability to design and implement appropriate infrastructures to support cross platform and cross database environments, provide scalability and two-node implementation.

-The ability to quickly and accurately perform troubleshooting and repair of existing applications.

-The ability to function as technical lead analyst to guide a small team of developers.

-The ability to work well with others in a team, but the confidence to handle responsibilities on your own.

-An interest in enhancing skills and learning new technologies.
