Senior Tax Accounting ManagerLarge Tech Company - South Bay$130k + bonus-Coordinating, reviewing and/or preparing the annual and quarterly worldwide tax provisions with particular emphasis on FIN 48 (contingency reserves), FAS 123R (stock-based compensation), deferred tax accounting for other comprehensive Income items, valuation allowances, mergers and acquisitions and APB 23 (permanent investments in foreign subsidiaries) -Managing compliance with Sarbanes – Oxley -Interfacing with the external auditor -Developing and implementing tax provision process improvements -Preparing “management” tax rates -Special projects both domestic and international in natureQualifications: -Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field -CPA required -8 -12 years of experience in public accounting and industry with significant responsibilities for the accounting for income taxes (FAS 109) and SEC reporting -Industry experience REQUIRED - Proficiency with international taxation, including experience with offshore structures is a strong preference -Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 internal control documentation and evaluation is helpful -Excellent project management skills and very strong analytical skills -Able to effectively interface with company personnel cross-functionally and at all levels -Proficient with complex Excel spreadsheetsIf interested in this position, please forward resume to kate.dwyer@parkerlynch.com Company: Parker and Lynch Status: Full Time, Employee Location: Silicon Valley, CA Salary: USD 130,000.00 /year Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Work Experience: 7+ to 10 Years Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
