Senior Unix AIX Security Administrator

SUMMARYResponsible for technical support and systems administration for the UNIX systems and the system environment at CCE. Provide UNIX technical expertise to other IS groups as needed. Responsible for I.S. consulting and development of technology solutions to resolve business issues. Demonstrate an ability to lead and manage medium to large projects.RESPONSIBILITIESOn-call support & problem resolution Completion of Request for Services Installation and configuration of specialized UNIX software packages & fixes Recommend system enhancements Hardware selection, acquisition, installation, & removal Advanced skills (3 to 5 years) in troubleshooting & resolution of UNIX technical issues Assistance in development of other staff members Development of technology solutions; testing; and documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 3 years experience in UNIX AIX Security Systems Administration REQUIRED High Level knowledge and experience (3 years) REQUIRED with: Security

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred BM AIX Certification desirable ADDITIONAL DATA:

The Mid-Range and UNIX Systems Team is an aggressive group looking for highly motivated individuals. This position requires rotating on-call responsibilities and approximately 5-10% travel. This individual must be able to work on Sundays during maintenance weekends. The position will be a permanent position based in Atlanta.
