Senior Windows Administrator

PSI Pax, a growing innovative technical services business that provides IT and operational
enterprise support to the U.S. government, is currently recruiting for a Sr. Windows Administrator. 
The senior administrator performs expert analysis and systems design for a variety of complex
applications and works under limited supervision. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

 1. Provides support of the Navy ERP environment by performing all functions that require
application administration on the Windows systems.
2. Coordinates with Navy ERP IA and IMD Server Teams to ensure the servers are maintained i
n accordance to site security standards.
3. Works with vendors and assists application owners with system software updates and patches.
4. Provides Program Management Tool application level support (maintenance/troubleshooting/
patches/upgrades), to include but not limited to Sharepoint, ARIS, ASAP, MS Project, DOORS,
Dimensions and Risk Radar.
5. Monitors HEAT system and responds to customer requests for assistance with Windows applications.
6. Provides planning assistance to system architects for Windows application deployment.
7. Research new Windows software and hardware requirements.
8. Creates and maintains documentation and procedures for Windows application support.
9. Analyzes and coordinates application/front-end/system/interface outages and interruptions.
10. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts, and may have
supervisory responsibilities.
11. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
12. Participates in special projects as required.

Requirements:

-  5-7  years experience with Windows System Administration

-  Some experience with leading a team of system administrators

-  Solid experience with Sharepoint, ARIS, ASAP, MS Project, DOORS,
Dimensions and Risk Radar.

-  Excellent problem solving, organization, and communication skills

-  Able to work independently and as part of a team

-  Must be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic work environment

 

BS degree and MCSE/MCSA certs a plus.
