SharePoint Consultant

They have an opportunity for a Microsoft Sharepoint  consultant. The position will be working from a home office and cover the NY metro territory.

The candidate consultant will be responsible for planning, designing, installing, configuring, testing, and implementing SharePoint 2007.

 Work with Clients to identify and document project requirements Design infrastructure, custom components, information taxonomy Code and unit test custom software components Produce quality engineering estimates based on documented requirements or design documentation Work with client stakeholders of various levels, roles, duties, and responsibilities Utilize best practices related to the deployment of SharePoint.

Professional experience with the Microsoft .NET Framework Relational database experience using Microsoft SQL Server Web application development experience General comprehension of software development processes and software configuration management Excellent communication skills Migration from WSS 2.0 to WSS 3.0 and SPS 2003 to MOSS 2007. Farm infrastructure architecture Installation and Configuration of WSS/MOSS CSS, XML, JavaScript Branding utilizing Mater Pages, Layouts and themes Designer and Visual Studio Workflows Deployment of Custom Web Parts and Web Controls SharePoint Designer 2007 Security and permission configuration
