Shop/Field Technician

Maintenance of Electronic Toll Collection equipment. Primarily responsibilities field work along the 3 Northern bridges of  the Delaware Joint Toll Bridge Commission which cross the Delaware River NJ to PA. Additional responsibilities are repair of Electronic toll equipment, in field equipment repair and PM, on call response for corrective repairs, maintenance work reports, customer relations.

 

Candidates should live in the Easton or surrounding areas.

 

Will be responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance on Toll collection equipment. Will be responsible for making service calls, with minimal direct supervision.

 

Must have understanding of basic electronics, including calibration checks and trouble shooting on electronic equipment.  Must have the ability to learn diagnostic testing of electronic and electromechanical equipment.   Should be familiar with a wide range of power tools.  Should be able to handle tools, equipment, and parts weighing up to 70 lbs.  Should have an excellent driving record including the ability to drive at night.  Should have a demonstrated awareness of the safety aspects of a field technician position.  

 

Have prior experience making service calls with minimal supervisions.  Have previous experience in the repair of electronic subassemblies. Have previous experience in the repair of electromechanical assemblies. have familiarity with the use of laptop computers for use in field equipment calibration and basic web and email applications.
