Siebel System Administrator

This individual will serve as full time Siebel system Administrator who will provide Siebel application and end user technical support for Siebel CRM solutions for sales and support centre. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and updating the architecture, ensuring the health of the systems and databases, ensuring the operational run books are accurate and maintained, performing overall daily management of Siebel applications environment, and performing operational tasks and actifities (e.g., monitoring log files, run batch jobs, patching, performance tuning, writing Unix shell scripts, etc.). Individual will meet with internal staff to review projects and development staff to insure quality installation of new releases and the continued operation of the platform and will comply with NIKSUN's standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

Perform System Admin functions and manage a stable Siebel network environment.

Administer, develop and configure CRM solutions for internal support and sales organization

Create and generate canned reports for senior leadership.

Periodically perform system wide upgrades to Siebel server and client systems.

Configuration, development and maintenance of internal applications like Configurator, Net Renewals, Supportnet, etc .

Requirements gathering for continuous improvement of all above mentioned systems.

Point of contact for all end-user issues of above systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets involving Siebel applications. Perform operational tasks and activities (e.g. application monitoring, application migration between environments, patching, performance tuning, etc.) Assist as needed with the installation and configuration of Siebel Appliations Server, Actuate Reporting Server.

Provide technical support for a complex, high availabitlity Siebel architecture.

Experience & Skills

Network hardware installation, configuration, support and performance monitoring.

Familiarity with Windoes enviornment Siebel installation

Understanding & experience of SQI. Server database administration.

Extensive knowledge of the IT infrastructure operations environment

Evaluate and improve disaster recovery and incident management procedures.

Maintain current and accurate inventory records for Hardware and Software.

Ability to teach, coach and mentor peers

Helpdesk/ticket System Call Center experience

Microsoft/Unix/Linux/FreeBSD

TCP/IP,DNS,DHCP

Email administration

database and Web DEvelopment experience

Siebel 5 to 8 experience preferred.

Educational requirements:

BS degree and/or ewq
