We are currently seeking a College Graduate to Entry Level Associate Software Engineer for our Mobile Software Engineering Department. The position is located in Sunnyvale, CA.



 

Job Description (Include primary purpose and major functions):

The applicant will be tackling tasks at various stages in the development process ranging from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing (unit, integration, functional, performance) and making fixes  to existing C, C++, VB and C# code.

 

The position involves code development, maintenance related to windows xp and vista device drivers, applications, tools and scripts for Fujitsu notebook and tablet computers.

 

The candidate would need to investigate critical product issues reported by customers, and also create production grade windows operating system preinstall images for notebook and tablet products.



Education:Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering Or equivalent years of experience such as 1-2 years programming experience is desirable. Specialized Courses in Windows XP/Vista driver development related courses are a plus. Type of experience:Programming experience (professional or academic) in several programming languages such as C/C++, C#, VB.NET etc.C/C++ windows programming experience is preferred. Skills and abilities:C/C++ or C#. Must be fluent.Experience and knowledge of Object Oriented Programming/Development concepts and practices.Strong logical and analytical skills.Good communication, documentation skills and a team player. Familiarity with the following equipment:Visual Studio 2005 development environment.Experience using version/change control system such as Visual Sourcesafe is desired.Strong background (academic coursework) in computer architecture, operating systems, data structures & algorithms, software engineering.Office applications (word, excel, outlook and powerpoint).
