Software Engineer III (Classified)

Requisition Number: RPO925Job Description: IT Solution - Software Engineer (SE) Supporting Engineering Tools at Airborne Ground Surveillance & Battle Management Systems. Responsibility covers Software/Systems Engineering Tools, including DOORS, ClearCase, ClearQuest on both classified and unclassified networks. Duties include issue resolution, planning, budgeting, tracking of actual costs, working with vendors, and internal communications across the company. Other responsibilities include requirements analysis, task estimating, coordinating the tasks of assigned SEs. Employee will perform assignments in all aspects of project l ifecycle: requirements definition, planning, coding (Batch/Shell Scripts), implementing, maintenance (including product upgrades & integration), task completion tracking, and conformance to CMMI Level 3 processes.Job Requirements: Requires minimum 5 years IT experience, at least 3 years in supporting and/or managing similar Engineering applications, with Bachelors Degree or higher. An active or recently active Secret clearance is required. Specific expertise with one or more of the following systems is required: DOORS, ClearQuest or ClearCase is required. Excellent communication skills, proficiency in writing and presentation development are required. Prior CMMI or SEI training or education is desirable, and experience in supporting J2EE, Oracle, and Unix environments is a plus. Knowledge of Rational Suite, MathCad, MatLab, System Architect, Tau, and license server on both classified and unclassified networks is a plus.
